Ressom Lab develops machine learning methods for analysis of high dimensional genomic and proteomic data. Current research projects focus on the following activities: 1. Mass spectral data analysis Our goal is to develop analytical tools for mass spectral data preprocessing, mass spectrometric biomarker discovery and sample classification. 2. Microarray data analysis We develop algorithms for gene clustering, gene marker selection, and reverse-engineering of gene regulatory networks.
